Full Send Pre Workout Review
The reason you get a pre-workout is for most people to get energy, better endurance, and muscle output.
I love what the NELK Boys are doing whit FULL SEND their podcast youtube channel and merch, but I'm sorry the supplements, at least the pre workout that I'm writing about today that's not what they should do at least totally remodel the dosage. Here you have a total basic formula that most likely just got bought from a manufacturer, and they slapped a label on it. The dosages of the ingredients are way too low and will have barely any to no effect. There is no customization on the formula; the person who made this does not know anything about formulating a pre workout, and as I said, most likely, the person in charge of the supplements just found a company that can give finished pre workouts that they can put their label on and they put the smallest amounts of the ingredients just so they can say it is in the pre-workout. This formula most likely costs a couple of dollars, and they sell it for 40$, so this supplement is just for making money because it sure doesn't do much more.
How do you feel when using Full Send Pre-Workout?
When using this pre workout, I got the feeling of being more awake. The tingling was there and was a good workout, but in comparison to other pre-workouts whit actual good dosage, it was not something to preach about. so yes, you feel something, but you do not get anything actually effect out of this if you use an actual good pre workout you will get more benefits from it like being able to push those extra reps and also, in the long run, get much more out of it whit progression here you don't get much more than feeling more awake some tingling and more motivated for the sesh.
How do you feel after using Full Send Pre-Workout?
I did not feel much after effects after using this pre-workout. I did not feel too much of the effect when working out, so I did not expect to feel much more different either when coming down from the pre workout. I did not have a crash after just went back to normal. Off course, I did not have as much energy as before the workout, but my mood was the same felt good, and my body was tired from the workout.
Ingredients
One scoop is 6.9 grams and there are 30 servings per container.
The ingredients for this pre workout are:
Total Carbohydrates:
2g this is 1% of the daily value
thiamin (thiamin HCI)
1,2mg this is 100% of the daily value
riboflavin
1.3 mg this is 100% of the daily value
niacin (niacinamide)
16 mg this is 100% of the daily value
vitamin B12
12 mcg this is 500% of the daily value
These percentages are based on a 2000-calorie diet. So here you see what your body needs of these different ingredients when you have, as I said, a diet consisting of 2000 calories.
Beta-Alanine
You need 3200-6400 mg every day when you don't work out also because you want 179grams to build up to get a granted benefit and effect. And that's something you just won't get to build up to whit this amount at 1500 mg, especially when you might take this pre-workout 2-3 times a week or 4-5 if you work out a lot. What you will get is that tingling sensation but no real benefit other than that you feel it tingle.
This is for enhancing muscular endurance for anything over 1-10 minutes is where you get a benefit from the Beta Alanine. Not that useful for 8-12 rep workouts.
taurin
this is a useful antioxidant and can have some performance enhancement. The recommended dosage to get the effect is 1-6 grams or 1000-6000 mg, so yes, here they have hit this mark, but at the bear minimum, so from what they said about that, this is the best pre-workout ad potent I would expect more than the bare minimum.
Betaine Anhydrous
Here you have a good ingredient that works like an osmolyte and methenolone. Betaine has a health support aspect as well as muscle endurance, power output, and volume. The recommended dose of this should be at least a couple of grams or even more, and here you get 500mg.
Caffeine Anhydrous
Having a dosage of 200mg of caffeine is a good dose you will get effect from it, and I would say that 200mg is enough to get your benefits, and you can go higher, but all in all, this is a good dosage.
N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine HCI
here you have a form of Carnitine that is said to be able to pass through the blood-brain barrier whit ease to give you a nootropic effect in addition to the metabolical benefits. But L-Carnitine is bad at oral absorption; this is why some bodybuilders inject their Carnitine. And to get the effect from oral consumption, you would need 2000mg, and as we have seen, most of these ingredients are under dosed and so N-Acetyl-L-Carnitine this whit only 200mg.
Alpha Glycerylphosphorylcholine
here you have a good and expensive ingredient that looks good to have on the list, but unfortunately, many dose this were they basically just sprinkle some on top, and that's what they have done here good ingredient, but whit the dosage of 25mg this will not do anything for you what so ever. If they had other ingredients that could support and help the Alpha Glycerylphosphorylcholine so you could reduce the dosage to many 300-400 mg but in itself, I would want to see 600mg to see some performance enhancing benefits.
Is it worth using Full Send Pre Workout?
On the first formula they made, I would say that if you like and want to support Full Send and just want to tingle and get the energy whit some not much but some effect from the ingredients, yes you could buy it because it was not good, but it was something like it worked, but there are much better out there.
When we talk about the new formula, what they said about this is the best. They are terribly wrong. This new formula is extremely underdosed, not close to what it should be, and will not give you any benefits or effects besides tingling and being more awake from the caffeine. This new formula is no more than a tingling energy drink.
Conclusion
I like the NELK Bois, what they are doing and what the whole Full send brand has become whit everything from the collection of clothes to the content podcast, and all they have achieved, and I think they are actually good people. I don't think they want to sell bad supplements. I think they actually want to do good whit this, but I just don't think they know much about this. And they trusted the producers, and they said it was good.
But unfortunately, this new formula is even worse than the last one. You will not get any effect or benefits from this formula. I would call it a tingling energy drink, and whit that said, I do not recommend this pre workout. Use your money on some actually quality pre-workouts, and whit the price tag they put on, you can get much more for your money. and actually get in those last reps and get real effect and benefits from your pre.
Good Luck
I will, of course, make more pre workout reviews where I list up some of the better pre workouts and lots of other posts on equipment and different exercises.
Often when I work out, I do not use pre, but if you don't want to use your money on pre, you can also just eat a banana and drink a coffee or an energy drink, and you will get energy for your workout. I know myself sometimes you need some extra, and then it is really nice to have pre because it gives you a real good boost if you have a good one, but most of the time, you don't need more than a banana a glass of water or a coffee if you like that and you will still have good energy you need for your workout.
But if you want an actual good pre-workout, you don't need to search. Check out this link.
